Management Team

WireHead Security’s core management team brings years of experience in the Information Security arena. We specialize in building deep customer relationships (“partnerships” as we call them), becoming an extension of our clients’ infrastructure and support staff.

Our core team has worked together for over 8 years, and has maintained the same strong client partnerships over various entities in which we have been involved.

Michael S. Menefee
Principal Consultant & CTO

Michael is a 14-year veteran in assisting customers with IT security management principles. As Co-Founder and CTO, he is responsible for managing WireHead’s consulting practice, and oversees the technical direction of the company.

Michael is the North Carolina OWASP Chapter Leader, and a contributor to several OWASP and WASC Projects.

Prior to co-founding WireHead, Michael was the co-founder and Principal Consultant for Secure Solve Inc, and Director of Enterprise Security for US Networks, Inc.

Lance Miller
Principal & VP of Sales

Lance currently oversees all sales and marketing efforts for WireHead. With a background working with the financial and health care industries, Lance brings a complete understanding of compliance regulations to our clients.

Lance plays an active role in our client education process and routinely participates in local OWASP chapter events.

Prior to joining WireHead, Lance was Director of Sales at Secure Solve, Inc., VP of Sales for Five Nines, and Director of Sales at US Networks Inc.

Anthony Freed
Director of Business Development

In January, 2010 WireHead Security acquired Information-Security-Resources.com, a leading online news source for Information Security. Anthony (Founder of Information-Security-Resources.com) overseas Infosec Island’s strategic business relationships and manages Infosec Island’s authors, member contributors and Discussion Forums.

Anthony also works closely with WireHead’s business partnerships and helps develop strategic relationships with many businesses and organizations in the Information Security space.
