WireHead Security™ Signs Partnership with North Carolina Higher Education Group

Agreement Offers NCICU Members Discounts on High Quality Information Security Professional Services and Consulting.

RALEIGH, NC – February 02, 2010 – WireHead Security™, an information security services firm providing customers with solutions to strengthen internal security and risk management, today announced a partnership agreement with the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU), under which member institutions can take advantage of discounted service pricing. NCICU is a statewide educational group whose mission is to support, represent, and advocate for North Carolina independent higher education.

NCICU is comprised of North Carolina’s 36 private, non-profit liberal arts, comprehensive, and research colleges and universities accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Two NCICU members, Elon University (www.elon.edu) in Elon, NC and Meredith College (www.meredith.edu) in Raleigh, are already WireHead clients.

The partnership covers WireHead’s consulting services in the areas of penetration testing, Web application assessments, source code reviews, social engineering assessments, internal risk assessments, wireless assessments, VoIP assessments and regulatory compliance readiness assessments. Wirehead also is dedicated to training and education and offers OWASP training, security awareness training and product and technology training.
